Lesson Overview:
Students analyze the works of Jacques-Louis David, artists of the French Revolution, for elements of propaganda, motive, and viewpoint.  Following their analysis of David's artwork, students videoconference with the curator of the Albright-Knox Gallery and analyze a contemporary artwork influenced by the style of David.
