Students will conference with the museum and view contemporary art that deals with memory (Salcedo, Ahearn, Kiefer) and discuss how these pieces reflect memory.  Teacher may wish to click on the images below ahead of time and print them out or post them for classroom use online to give students more intimate access.

Students will view works of art at the Albright Knox Gallery with the staff, and discuss the history, motivation, and interpretations of the "memory" pieces.

Students will discuss, if time allows, how the pieces connect to their understanding of human nature and memory.
