The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC) is a non-profit museum organization, which maintains and interprets two historic sites, the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate (a Victorian house museum), and the Cape May Lighthouse (a working lighthouse and museum of maritime history). The organization has become the storyteller of the area's rich history and shares that history with residents and visitors through tours, living history programs and educational outreach presentation.

MAC is certified by the NJ DOE as a provider of professional development and programs are linked to the NJ Core Curriculum Standards. Teacher resource packets with background information and classroom activities are available for most programs.
