Target Grade Level:  Grade 4

Background:
Students need to have prior knowledge of how writers incorporate the five senses into their writing.  For example, Charlotte's Web has an entire page about the sights, smells, sounds etc. of the barn.  Listening to stories, or excerpts from stories that model this technique, is necessary before students create a piece of their own.

Materials Needed:

• 25 Disposable Cameras
• Photo processing costs
• 25 (9" by 12") pieces of foam core
• 25 folders
• Loose leaf paper
• Empty slide-mounts
• Pencils
• 9X12 Manila paper
