Early Dutch Settlement

Target Grade Level:  4

In preparation for the 5th grade Social Studies test, we are learning about the history of New York.  We have studied the origins of Schenectady which are very closely tied to the settlement of the Dutch in Albany.  Students are prepared to learn more about the development of European colonies in the new world.

Procedure
Will expose students to more information on the early settlement of Hudson and Mohawk Valley.
