Puppetry Fits into the Fine Art/Drama aspect of English Language Arts.

Students will actively engage in the processes that constitute creation and performance in the arts. 

Students will be knowledgeable about and make use of the materials and resources available for participation in the arts in various roles.

Students will develop an understanding of the personal and cultural forces (Chinese Puppetry) that shape artistic communication and how the arts in turn shape the diverse cultures of past and present society.

Time Required
Half hour

One hour preparation of materials/templates for use in video conference

One hour video conference (8:15 - 9:15)

45-Minute Class Periods

10-15 Minute Reflection / Assessment of Process

Logistical Planning

Speak to students about the nature of videoconferencing and the experience, behavior, delay, etc

Modify situations/ materials as necessary

Techniques and Tools

A written reflection by each student which gathers information of the effectiveness of the technology, the lesson, the goals, etc.
