 Kindergarten

All materials requested will be set in front of the children.  Soft spoken children will be in the front of the room; louder children will be in the back of the room.

The Arts:  Standard 2
Knowing and using arts materials and resources.

English Language Arts:  Standard 1
Students will red, write, listen and speak for information and understanding. 
Standard 2 Students will read, write, listen and speak for literacy response and expression.

Mathematics, Science and Technology:  Standard 4 
Students will understand and apply scientific concepts, principles and theories pertaining to the physical setting and living environment and recognize the historical development of ideas in science.

Time Required:
This unit on dinosaurs will take two months to complete.

Logistical Planning:

  • Read books to the students.
  • Complete what they know, what they want to know, and what they learned chart.
  • Learn new vocabulary words
  • Make different dinosaur pictures.
  • Watch dinosaur movies.
  • Play with dinosaur toys.
