Objective/Focus
This particular videoconference will integrate with
many aspects of the 5th grade science curriculum.
Students have previously studied ecosystems. This
will enhance the learning process and develop further
interests for the students. Prior to the
videoconference, students will engage in a mini unit on
invertebrates and vertebrates. Following the
videoconference students will create PowerPoint
presentations to share with other classes as a
culmination activity.
Prior to
the videoconference, students will need to be familiar
with classification process of animals. In
addition to this, students will be able to discuss how
animals adapt to their environment.
