This integration plan was used by a Grade 6 Social Studies Teacher at Maple Avenue Middle School.
In addition, students in this school participate in character education.  The program is aimed at providing students with the tools which are needed to become productive members of the community by reinforcing skills such as respect, responsibility, tolerance etc.

Finally, the language arts curriculum requires students to produce a variety of written work, engage in listening activities, and engage in public speaking.

The topics presented by The Cleveland Museum of Art will supplement the school curriculum and help create a cross-curricular connection for the students.
