Studies Standard 2
Students will use a variety of intellectual skills
to demonstrate their understanding of major ideas, eras,
themes, developments and turning points in world history
and examine the broad sweep of history from a variety of
perspectives
Time
Required:
Planning - 1Hours
Pre
Lessons Activities - 3 Weeks
Implementation - 3- one hour time slots
Post
Lessons and Activities - 3 class periods
Assessment - 3 class periods
Logistical Planning:
Each class will practice with the system. We
will experiment with the best location in the library,
regarding lighting, sound, and seating. We will
design a seating assignment for soft spoken students to
be situated in the front. A paraprofessional
teacher will accompany special needs students.
Technique and Tools:
The students will do an oral presentation about the
project they developed. They will complete a unit
test, a DBQ and several quizzes. An additional
writing assignment will be completed at the end of the
video conference |
