Days of Knights
Grade 6

We would like to do the same program for 3 different groups of 28 students.  We can do this over 2 or 3 days in the morning or one session in the afternoon.

Purpose/Objective:
The sixth grade Social Studies curriculum focuses on ancient civilizations.  e spent a substantial amount of time on the Middle Ages.  We developed projects on areas of the Middle Ages as chosen by the students.  We learn about feudalism, the Black Death, architecture, culture, knighthood.  This videoconference will be a culminating activity and the students should have a good working knowledge of the Middle Ages.  The students will see the video, "Castle" by David Mcauley.
