Pre-Conference Lessons & Activities: 1 Week (5
classes)
Implementation - 2 hours (1 class plus set up time)

Logistical Planning:
Strategies and Methods. Before the
videoconference, the class will practice
videoconferencing with project VIEW to give the
students an opportunity to practice speaking loudly,
enunciating, and making sure that they wait to give
their responses or ask questions.
Modifications:
None needed
Technique and Tools:
The students will learn about the importance
of letter writing during the Middle Ages, then write
letters of their own pretending that they are living
during medieval times, incorporating information that
they learned in class and in the videoconference.
