Introduction:
The integrated
videoconference lessons and programs are the first in a series of
resources that are examining the context and importance of the
American Revolution events in New York. Eventually, the work here
will be linked to lessons focusing on events and people who were
connected to the Battles at Saratoga and at Fort Ticonderoga.
The lessons
here include one that explores the people who lived and worked in
New York City during the Revolutionary Time, and one that introduces
how historians approach material culture interpretation.
The resources
are designed for use in middle school (sixth grade) classes.
