Objectives
Students will make decisions on which images will impact for the newspaper most.

Students will verbalize the reasons for their decisions.

Museum experts will discuss the culture of the times and the impact that visual images had on the war, music, fashion, literature, education, art and technology.  Museum experts show students 3-4 photos of events.  Gives a brief description of each of the events it portrays.  discuss with students why the images are important and what makes a great photo.

The year is 1968 and you are the editor of a daily newspaper in a medium size city.  Your newspaper is in direct competition with one competitor.
Paper one's subscribers are from middle class families and seniors. 
Paper two appeals more to college students and young, single professionals.  Their job is to decide on which photo should be run above the fold and then to convince the editor, museum expert.

Students must support the reasons for their choices.
