Nick Sheldon is a 7th Grade Social
Studies teacher at Mont Pleasant Middle School (in the
Schenectady City School District) and is a participant in the
Points of
VIEW project. Points of VIEW is a
collaborative partnership between Time Warner Cablevision,
C-SPAN Cable Network and Project VIEW of the Schenectady
City School District. The
project focuses on interactive content-rich videoconferencing
programs utilizing C-SPAN resources. The teaching team
developed a series of lessons centering on the presidency of
Theodore Roosevelt. The lessons, which transcend across
multiple teaching disciplines, are located on the
C-SPAN website.
