MasterMinds

Time Warner Cable presents "MasterMinds," an academic competition featuring representatives from area high schools. "MasterMinds" is a BOCES service. All public, private and parochial high schools are eligible. "MasterMinds" uses the College BowlTM format for match play. Matches are played in seven-minute halves with each school playing four students at a time. Students must ring in and be recognized before answering. The questions cover a broad range: art, biology, chemistry, current events, geography, history, literature, music, political science, pop culture, religion and sports.

"MasterMinds" will be shown on TWC local channel 2 in Albany/Troy, 14 on all other systems and on channel 11 in Pittsfield Mass. Monday 7:00pm, Tuesday 9:00pm, Thursday 6:30pm, Saturday 10:00am and Sunday 11:30am. Check our website at http://www.twalbany.com/localprogramming for updated programming information.
