Outline the project.

Identify the project component

Describe the role of the teacher for
each component of the project

Articulate the goals and objectives of
each project component.
Develop a script for each project
component, detailing:

content that will be covered

activities that will occur

necessary materials

day-to-day plan that will lead to
achievement of goals.

Post scripts and all project components
on the VIEW website.
Tips -
For the Video Conference
Dress

Avoid checks, stripes, intricate
patterns - they vibrate on screen

Avoid white - it glows and is
distracting

Adjust lighting so it doesn't reflect on
glasses

Limit jewelry - it can reflect on the
screen
Motion
-
Moving around is more effective and
communicates a relaxed presentation

Allow extra time to transition positions

Use slow and controlled motion
Timing/Pacing

Take your time - pacing is slower than
in-person programming

Allow extra time for interaction -
people need time to get comfortable with
the medium and there are sometimes
delays in transmission
