Learn how to design a Web page using the authoring software package FrontPage.  Participants will create a “resource” Web page that can be become a useful tool when designing Web-based activities and integrating them in a specific curriculum area.

This course will introduce participants to the world of digital photography.  Participants will learn all the components of a digital camera and how to take the best pictures.  If you or your school owns a Sony Mavica camera, please bring it with you. Every button and function on your camera will be explained. Picture editing software will also be explored.

Introduction to Digital Imaging Software     REGISTER

In this class we will explore two photo editing software programs.  We will investigate Kodak’s Picture Easy program and explore Microsoft’s Picture It! You should bring with you images saved to a floppy or burned onto a CD that you would like to manipulate.  This one-day course is all about having fun and experimenting with the software.

This course is designed for K-8 teachers.  It will demonstrate 25 different ideas on how to incorporate the use of a digital camera in your classroom.  You will also have time to try to create one of these projects.
