A Trip to the Zoo

1)  Admission to the zoo is $ 3.50 for children under age 12, and $7.00 for adults.  20 children and 4 adults from Lincoln Middle School are going to the zoo.  How much will the total cost be?

2)  On Terrific Tuesdays, a group will receive a 20% discount off the total cost. If the group from Lincoln Middle School decides to go on a Tuesday, how much will they save?

3)  At the souvenir shop, you decide to buy a stuffed gorilla for $5.99 and a pencil for $1.99.  Sales tax is 8 %.  How much, including tax, will your total cost for the souvenirs be? (Round to the nearest cent)

4)  You pay for your souvenirs with a $20 bill.  How much change should you receive?
