Activity 1 - Modern and Contemporary Book of Art :

Students will create a Modern and Contemporary Book of Art for elementary school age children using the vocabulary words in the lesson introduction.  They will also incorporate actual examples of artists works which exemplify these words and will also incorporate their own visual ideas and design ideas into this creation.

Copies of these books can be made and distributed to elementary schools within individual districts to be used by
