three ways that the terrain influenced the decisions and
actions of both armies during the battles of Saratoga.
2. Recognize
the limitations imposed by terrain features upon armies in the
Revolutionary War.

Understand the efforts of the National Park Service to
preserve the historic scene at Saratoga National Historic Park
and other sites.
